Jonas Silfversten Bergman primarily works with painting. He paints pictures of the city and objects that exist in the public space that perhaps are overlooked or invisible. Through this process, his paintings depict both a realist and abstract view of the city, and aim to offer a perspective that is familiar, yet unfamiliar.
Jonas Silfversten Bergmans work has been shown at Moderna Museet Malmö, (SE, Örebro Konsthall (SE), Konstakademien (SE), Galleri CC (SE), Bildmuseet (SE), Konstfrämjandet Västerbotten (SE), Härnösand Konsthall (SE), Konstfrämjandet Bergslagen (SE), among others.
Jonas Silfversten Bergman was the recipient of Fredrik Roos Art Grant in 2017.
